About the Role
PostNet GA131 is hiring a Print Production Manager/Specialist to lead day-to-day print operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in print production, graphic design, digital printing, or hands-on operations who takes pride in quality work and enjoys managing projects from start to finish.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring jobs are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time, while also supporting front-counter operations as needed.
Schedule
Monday–Friday
Flexible between 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
30–35 hours per week
Additional hours available during busy periods
Compensation & Benefits
$16 and up per/hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities
Print Production / Operations

  • Manage and execute print production jobs from file setup to final output
  • Prepare and set up print-ready files, including bleeds, margins, and layout adjustments
  • Add and verify crop marks, registration marks, and proper file formatting for production
  • Resize and adjust customer files to meet print specifications without compromising quality
  • Create and set up cut files for finishing or specialty production 
  • Perform basic to intermediate graphic design and file edits (flyers, business cards, signage, customer revisions)
  • Ensure accurate color setup and perform basic color matching for consistent print results
  • Operate digital printers, copiers, and production equipment
  • Complete finishing tasks: cutting, folding, laminating, binding, and packaging
  • Maintain quality control and ensure consistency across all jobs
  • Meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Workflow Management

  • Prioritize, track, and manage multiple print jobs simultaneously
  • Communicate job status with team members and ownership
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for equipment support

Inventory & Shop Organization

  • Monitor paper, toner, and production supplies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production area

Customer Service Support

  • Assist with front counter sales and customer service
  • Answer phones and process transactions (POS system)
  • Help customers understand print options, materials, and turnaround times
  • Support shipping, mailbox services, and retail operations

Qualifications
Required Experience & Skills

  • Experience in a print production, copy/print shop, or similar environment
  • Hands-on experience with digital printing and/or wide-format printing
  • Familiarity preferred with operating finishing equipment (cutters, laminators, bindery, folding)
  • Proficiency with:
    • Adobe Illustrator and/or Adobe Suite
  • Strong understanding of print-ready file setup, including:
    • Bleeds, trim, and safe margins
    • Crop and registration marks
  • Experience in resizing files and preparing artwork for various print formats
  • Ability to create and manage cut files for production
  • Ability to preflight and troubleshoot customer artwork files
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently in a small team environment

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

  • Familiarity with RIP software (Fiery)
  • Experience with wide-format printing (blueprints, posters)
  • Experience with print job workflow (Trello)
