About the Role
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at PostNet in Charleston, SC (West Ashley area). This full time in-store role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, creative environment and contribute to the success of both our business and local companies through innovative design and print production. We are looking for someone who possesses the ability to operate print equipment and create quality graphics within short time frames while aiding customers in-store with their printing and packaging needs.
The ideal candidate would be someone who has print experience and can maintain a positive, friendly demeanor while juggling various print orders, design requests and customer service needs. They would also be able to work full time in sometimes stressful conditions while managing competing priorities in the print, design and customer service fields.
Training Plan
Our new Print Production Specialist / Assistant Graphic Designer will follow a clear training plan to get up to speed. You’ll start with two to three months of customer service training, learning how to handle client requests and understanding their needs. Then, you’ll spend four to six months training in print production, getting hands-on experience with our equipment, paper types, and printing processes. After this, you’ll move into graphic design, where you’ll be able to create visuals that meet client expectations. During heavy graphic loads, you may be able to jump into design early. This step-by-step process ensures you’re ready to take on all parts of the job with confidence.
